The Story of the Hopewell Inn - Sun., March 19, 2023 Doug Dixon explores the forgotten history of the Hopewell Inn, and the people and families who nurtured and reinvigorated it over its almost 150 year history as a part of the town of Hopewell. Local History Talks by Jack Koeppel Local history talks by Jack Koeppel now on the HVHS YouTube channel: - "Images of Old Hopewell: A Stroll Through Town - Now and Then" highlights Hopewell Borough's special 19th century character by juxtaposing the old with the new, matching historic images with current views of Hopewell. - "A Home in the Country: The Story of St. Michael's Orphanage" uses images from the past along with information and stories about St Michael's to provide a better understanding of the property’s past, present and future. Presented in 2016 and sponsored by the Hopewell Public Library.
