Local Historic Preservation Commissions

The Hopewell Borough Historic Preservation Commission generally meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm and acts as an advisory body to the Planning Board on development and modifications of structures in the Historic District and the historic district buffer.

The Township HPC meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm quarterly in person and otherwise by zoom (check the website). The HPC offers Design Guidelines for Historic Properties and actively pursues preservation opportunities in the Township.

Pennington's HPC meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. It was established by a Borough Ordinance in 2011 to preserve the unique character of Pennington’s Crossroads Historic District encompassing those areas of Main Street and Delaware Avenue that showcase architectural styles of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries.
