Now is a great time to visit the HVHS archives case at the Mercer County Library - Hopewell Branch.

Created and designed by volunteer Catherine Schurdak, the case this month features the life of Alice Stout Bidwell, who grew up on River Drive in Titusville. Pat Brundage, the current owner of the Bidwell house found Alice's diaries, written as a teen, as well as later letters, which outline a life of adventure as Alice travelled to far away lands before the 2d World War.
To see the exhibit, go past the reference desk, to the right and the exhibit will be in front of you. If you go on a Thursday or Friday afternoon, you may catch the archives volunteers in action. They are the Society's busiest team - you can read more about them here.
